Terms and Conditions of Business

All pat testing work will be carried out according to the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.

Because the IEE code of practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment does not deal with the legislation relating to the supply of equipment whether new or second-hand, to a third party by way of sale or other method pattest. me.uk will not test any equipment which is indented for supply to a third party. Any equipment made available for supply at any time after being tested by pattest.me.uk will null and void the test results.

Any previous records of tests must be made available to Pattest.me.uk before testing begins.

A competent person shall be provided by the customer to meet our Pat-test.me.uk technician, to advise on any site safety information needed and any potential hazards when working at the customer’s premises and to also ensure the availability of appliances for pat testing.

Pat-test.me.uk accepts no liability for injury, loss or damage for appliances that are not made available or are inaccessible during the agreed pat test/inspection period.

The customer shall ensure that any critical information or data has been protected/backed up prior to the start of inspection and testing.

Pat-test.me.uk provides insurance cover for public liability. No liability is accepted for business interruption, loss of data or business information, losses to business related services or loss to business profits.

Pat-test.me.uk accepts no liability for injury, loss or damage for appliances that are found to be faulty before or after pat testing.

All pat testing is carried out solely at the appliance owner’s risk.

Payment is due within 7 days from date of invoice, strictly Nett.

The ownership of test results remains the property of Pat-test.me.uk until all invoices are paid in full.
